Codex has been in the market for more than 45 years. While our efforts were originally focused primarily on the production of educational materials for kindergarten, over time the need arose to constantly create and develop new products for different uses, with special attention to user safety and health.
From games and aids for psycho-motor, expressive, logical-mathematical or rehabilitative activities, we now produce a wide range of shock protectors and aids, combining design with extensive studies and research on raw materials. In 1992 we created the POLYMAT® brand, a special soft compound based on Ethylene Vinyl Acetate elastomer, with a closed cell and high shock absorption capacity.
We can provide endless solutions for securing sports facilities, schools, playgrounds, industries, hospitality and hospital facilities, and cruise ships.
We design and produce both standard and customized solutions for specific and targeted interventions, based on the customer’s need.

Sending its own specialized staff who can suggest the best solutions, Codex conducts technical inspections and surveys throughout the country. All Codex products are accompanied by data sheets and certifications in accordance with current regulations.
The technical department is able to design and offer customized solutions according to the needs of its customers, without ever neglecting the aesthetic aspect of the work to be performed. Codex guarantees its assistance from the design phase, to installation, to after-sales.
Upon request, the installation team is available to install the safety guards throughout Italy, issuing a “declaration of correct installation” upon completion as an additional guarantee of the material’s durability.
